The BOYA BY-DM200 is a small plug-in iOS lightning smartphone microphone designed to provide better sound for a variety of video and audio applications such as vlogs, YouTube videos, interviews, voice recordings, and more. The plug-and-play microphone uses two condenser capsules powered directly from the phone or tablet to provide a cardioid pickup pattern. This pattern directs the mono audio capture to the sound source directly ahead of the capsule, reducing unwanted background noise. The device's lightning input is also equipped with a built-in digital converter capable of recording at a powerful 24-bit/96 kHz resolution. Both an indoor foam windscreen and an outdoor fur windshield are included, allowing you to shoot video and record audio in a variety of locations with less distracting wind noise.
