The Tenda O6 5GHz 16dBi 11AC Gigabit Outdoor CPE is designed to provide PtP and P2MP solutions for video surveillance transmission and wireless broadband access. With 11ac wireless technology and gigabit Ethernet Port design, the maximum throughput for a PTP connection can be up to 450 Mbps. It features a 16 dBi dual-polarization directional antenna to provide an efficient way to pick up and maintain a stable long-range connection. O6 uses an independent external power amplifier and a 16 dBi directional antenna to provide an efficient way to pick up and maintain a stable signal for a wireless network up to 10km. O6 adopts 11AC Wave2 technology and delivers an 867 Mbps speed rate at 5 GHz. With a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port design, the maximum throughput test for PtP connections can be up to 450 Mbps. O6 supports PoE 802.3af/at, 24V 0.5A Passive PoE, and 12V 1A DC power supply options. It helps the engineer deploy the device flexiblely. TD-MAX is a Tenda TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) proprietary protocol to improve performance and capacity for wireless P2MP outdoor application scenarios. In outdoor environments, the CPE uses highly directional antennas to connect to the base station from distances that can span several kilometers. The CPE can't sense each other; they become hidden nodes” and cannot coordinate access to the wireless channel. Thus, the base station experiences frequent collisions from stations transmitting simultaneously. As the network scales, these collisions build up exponentially, increasing latency and lowering throughput. With TD-MAX, it coordinates all the data transmission and allocates time to active clients to provide greater noise immunity performance when compared to the conventional 802.11 CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access/CCollision Avoidance) protocol. Equipped with an IP65 waterproof enclosure and high-quality hardware design, O6 can work in various weather conditions, such as sunshine, rainfall, or extremely low or high temperatures.
